How to prepare for your boudoir session.
If you are reading this, you most likely have a boudoir photoshoot coming up. Que the excitement and the nervousness (which is completely normal). This blog will give you tips on how to prepare for your session.

Stretching
Stretching is sooo important to help prepare for your photoshoot. We call boudoir posing "glorified yoga posing". You will be put into poses that activate muscles that you may not use on a daily basis. No worries, if a pose is too advanced, we are ALWAYS able to modify it. Leading up to your session, you will receive a prep guide that has specific yoga poses to help prepare you.

Hydrate
Being hydrated is SO important. Not just for your session, but for your overall health. We tell our clients to try and drink a gallon of water a day. This will help make your skin have a nice glow. To help make your water intake goal, try getting a pretty cup or one that has times and motivational quotes.

Don't skip breakfast!
This is such a crucial tip. I promise that breakfast is not going to make you look super bloated. It is so important for you to eat before your boudoir session. You are going to be here for 4 hours. Not only that, but you are also going to be put in so many different poses. You will definitely work up an appetite. Remember food is fuel for your body.

The night before
Make sure to get a good night's sleep the night before your boudoir experience. Along with that, if you are planning on bringing any props, outfits, or shoes, make sure that is all packed up the night before, so you don't feel rushed the morning of. You can just grab your bag and head to your photoshoot.
